Russia seeks Caspian Sea to become an example of cooperation, not confrontation, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Grigory Karasin said Wednesday, APA reported citing TASS.
According to him, Russia prioritizes cooperation with Caspian littoral countries as one of the most important issue.
“The Caspian should be an example of cooperation, not confrontation. We are well aware that the world is not in peace. The Caspian should be a positive example. There are all necessary conditions for this. We are trying to show an example of how to unite in the region in solving complicated problems, such as ecological situations, threat to security, and emergencies,” Karasin added.
