The inauguration of Nursultan Nazarbayev, re-elected as Kazakhstan’s president, will be held on April 29, said the country’s central election commission (CEC).
“The central election commission of the Kazakhstan Republic passed a resolution registering the President of the Kazakhstan Republic, elected at the early election Apr. 26, 2015, and set Apr. 29, 2015 as the day when the Kazakhstan Republic’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev will be sworn in,” said the CEC message.
The CEC final data said some 8.83 million people voted for Nazarbayev, which is 97.75 percent of the votes.
The other two candidates – Abelgazi Kusainov and Turgun Syzdykov gathered 0.64 and 1.61 percent of votes, respectively.
